Automatic Dieless Cutting Systems

Dieless Cutting Systems are designed to make a continuous cut by moving the cutting tool around the profile of the pattern to cut. Manufacturers Supplies Company offers two types of dieless cutting systems; waterjet cutting and CAD/CAM knife cutting. These systems are ideal for just in time production, short runs and 1-off production, CAD/CAM design, and when shapes are too simple or too complex for traditional die cutting. Both the waterjet and knife-cutting systems have advantages over the other, which are detailed on the dieless cutting website.

	All our dieless cutting systems are computer controlled with state-of-the-art digital operations that integrate the most sophisticated CAD/CAM software available. Currently we have three waterjet cutting systems available. The ATOM Flashjet 2400 is a total leather cutting system that can easily accommodate hides up to the size of a half cowhide. Acquisition of hide contours and marking of quality areas is performed by a dedicated Intelliview System designed to recognize the usable areas of the hide and then automatically nest the desired patterns into the cutting system. The Flashjet 2000DA with three cutting heads, and automatic pallets for loading and unloading of materials is designed for high production. While the ATOM Flashjet 1600SA waterjet cutting system, which has a single cutting nozzle and two manually, controlled pallets, is the ideal machine for just-in-time production and material savings at an economical price. All ATOM waterjet cutting systems are equipped with the most sophisticated nesting software, and are the fastest cutting systems available on today's market. Some companies do not want to cut with pure water, so ATOM have designed total knife cutting systems. These knife cutting system use cutting blades to cut the desired pattern. The speed and nesting capabilities are identical to the waterjet cutting systems.
